When it comes to nutritious and healthy beef, Acton Super Beef is the best. It offers various beef products a wide range of cuts depending on what you want. With the range available, you are sure to find the right product for you. Here are the products available;
Rump
Rump beef is the cut from the hindquarter and muscle above the cow’s hip bone. It is perfect for roasting and, when thinly sliced, makes for a wonderful frying stick.
Cube Roll
The cube roll is cut from the back of the cow, running from the striploin to the shoulder blade area. Some prefer to call it the rib eye or the scotch fillet, and it is not only rich in flavour, but it is also quite tender.
Topside
The topside is the cow’s thigh inner muscle which is a lean cut that is also tender, much more than the silverside. It can be prepared in several ways, such as roasted, stewed, diced, etc. Any way you cook it, it makes for some delicious meat.
Knuckle
This cut is exceptionally lean and cut from between the bottom round and top round. You can cook it as roasts, cubes, pot roasts, etc.
T/Bone
This cut is from the short loin with the bone usually having two steaks attached to it. It has the strip on the long side and the tenderloin on the short side.
Striploin
Also called the sirloin, it is the cut from the spine in the hindquarter, which goes from the rump to the ribs. It is flavoursome, succulent, and tender meat that can be cut into steaks.





Outside Flat
It is the bottom round cut which is the biggest part of the complete bottom round separated at the heels. It is wonderful meat which is quite tender and lean.
Flank Steak
This is the beefsteak that is cut from the cow’s abdominal muscles. It is a flat and long cut that can be used for making various dishes and is completely boneless with the intense beef flavour it holds.
Op Ribs
We also have Oven prepared beef. This cut is from a steer rib section in between the striploin and the chuck roll. It has several cuts and is roasted.
Chuck
This is a cut from the containing and thick part of the shoulder bones and makes for good chuck steak.
Clod/Blade
This is the cut from the shoulder and one of the most affordable cuts you can get. The clod is all muscle and some fat.
Trim
We also sell beef trimmings which are the pieces left after the roasts, steaks, and all other cuts have been removed. You can use it to make ground beef.
Tri Tips
This is the triangular cut taken from the sirloin and is practically boneless.
